Zang Toi's Gorgeous Fall/Winter 2018 Collection
New York Fashion Week may be over, but some of the gorgeous looks on display will stay with us for months to come. In particular, Zang Toi, who has been killing it in previous runway shows, wowed audiences with his consistently beautiful and innovative designs. After the designer’s triumphant show last season, this season’s design offerings were characterized by bold designs decorated with floral headpieces that delivered a sophisticated spring feel to the entire collection. Even the men’s clothes punctuated the new collection with coordinated gray suits and scarves.
Aptly given the Haute Roman Holiday theme, the colors that primarily dominated the designs were pink, reds and hints of orange. Zang Toi presented elegant palazzo pants, excellently tailored coats and suits, as well as a range of woolen and cashmere dresses, tops, and skirts. He also incorporated fur in grayscale to most of the designs, giving women and men the exact stylishness they have been asking for.
Everything on offer was jaw-dropping. Flower embroidered gowns and rich red and orange gowns flowed down the runway with incredible ease. The capes and the short wigs, some of which were red, added further decadence to the collection. Zang’s Fall/ Winter 2018 Collection was absolutely beautiful.
In the end, a mini dress skirt with hand appliquéd silk flowers named the “Portrait of Haute Roman Princess closed the show to the roaring applause of the impressed audience. All in all, Zang Toi’s show at the New York Fashion Week did not disappoint.
